NID supports transparent, credible and peaceful electoral processes through non-partisan domestic election observation, training of citizen observers, and technical engagement with electoral bodies. By tracking the conduct of elections from voter registration through to results, NID helps safeguard public confidence in Namibia’s democratic process and provides evidence-based recommendations to strengthen future elections.
